The GO training package was developed for WHO deployees so they can work safely and effectively as part of the teams bringing outbreaks under control. The learning package consists of 7 modules, which include video lectures and downloadable presentations that have been updated with the latest information and developments. It begins with an introduction to Ebola disease before moving to the response strategy and essential information related to working for WHO. The GO materials are designed to complement the ePROTECT training, which is available here: https://openwho.org/courses/e-protect.

Module 1: Introduction to Ebola:
In this module, you will become familiar with the modes of Ebola transmission, incubation period, signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, as well as measures to prevent the transmission of Ebola.Module 2: The Response Strategy and its Implementation through the IMS:
This module provides an example of a Strategic Response Plan from the 2018 Ebola outbreak in the Equateur Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and outlines the key features of the WHO Incident Management System.
