The overarching objective of TB case management is to support individuals in successfully completing the entire course of TB treatment. This involves ensuring that individuals adhere to the prescribed regimen of anti-tuberculosis drugs as directed by their healthcare provider. Additionally, timely medical examinations are crucial to monitor the progress of treatment, identify any potential side effects of the medications, and take appropriate measures to address and mitigate these effects. The comprehensive approach of nonclinical TB case management aims to guide individuals through every stage of their treatment, promoting both adherence and the successful completion of the TB treatment regimen.
