Overview

The course will provide you with the basic knowledge to understand key components and functionality of the WHO costing and budgeting tool for national action plans on AMR.

The tool enables countries in costing prioritized activities of an operational plan linked to their AMR national action plan, and identify existing funding and funding gaps to promote resource mobilization and sustainable implementation.

The course is composed of 8 modules including short videos, quizzes and activities.

What you'll learn

  • recognize key components and functionality of the WHO costing and budgeting tool for national action plans on antimicrobial resistance;

    Welcome to this course on the WHO costing and budgeting tool for national action plans on antimicrobial resistance. This course is introduced by Dr Kitty van Weezenbeek, Director of Surveillance, Prevention and Control, AMR Division, WHO.
  • Module 1: Overview of the tool :

    In this module, we will consider the purpose and value of the WHO costing and budgeting tool for national action plans (NAPs) on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
  • Module 2: Overview of the tool workflow and software requirements:

    In this module, we will look at the WHO costing tool workflow and software requirements.
  • Module 3: NAP Entry tab:

    In this module, we will look at the purpose of the NAP Entry tab, its elements and how to fill in the tab correctly.
  • Module 4: Basic Inputs tab:

    In this module, we will explore how to use the Basic Inputs tab.
  • Module 5: Costing Matrix tab:

    In this module, we will describe the purpose of the Costing Matrix tab and learn how to use the Building Blocks to correctly complete the Costing Matrix tab.
  • Module 6: Funding Inputs tab:

    In this module, we will learn how to use the Funding Inputs tab.
  • Module 7: Dashboard tabs:

    In this module, we will learn how to explore the dashboards.
  • Module 8: Module consolidator:

    In this module, we will learn about the module consolidator tool.
