  • Module 2: Critical phase including shock in children and adults:

By the end of this module, you will: comprehend the critical phase of dengue and its clinical significance, effective monitoring strategies and fluid management plans during the critical phase, early signs of complications, and decision-making skills for the management of severe dengue cases.
  • Module 3: Non-shock dengue and dengue with co-morbidities:

By the end of this module, you will: understand the clinical presentation and management of non-shock dengue patients, supportive care strategies to manage non-severe dengue cases and key clinical parameters in dengue patients with co-morbidities to be able to develop individualized care plans.
  • Module 4: Management of dengue with complications and unusual manifestations:

By the end of this module, you will: recognize common complications in dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) and dengue shock syndrome (DSS) and understand proper and timely correction of these complications including management of fluid overload, clues to early diagnosis of unusual manifestations of dengue or Expanded Dengue Syndrome (EDS) and proper management of associated complications of EDS.
  • Module 5: Management of high-risk children in dengue:

By the end of this module, you will: identify high-risk children who are more likely to develop severe dengue, implement targeted monitoring and management strategies for these patients, understand the impact of comorbid conditions on the severity of dengue in children and develop individualized care plans for managing dengue in high-risk children.
  • Module 6: Dengue patient monitoring :

By the end of this module, you will: understand the role of nursing care in the different phases of a dengue infection, recognize clinical signs and symptoms in the febrile, critical, and convalescent phase, develop comprehensive monitoring plans tailored to the needs of patients and identify key signs of dengue that need immediate notification of doctors
  • Module 7: Practical examples from case studies:

By the end of this module, you will: master critical care management techniques for severe dengue cases and apply your knowledge through the analysis of real-world case studies to enhance clinical practice.
  • Module 8: General nursing care for dengue patients:

By the end of this module, you will: understand the important roles and responsibilities of nurses in managing dengue patients, standard nursing care practices to support dengue patients, psychological support, how to monitor clinical signs and symptoms to identify early complications and urgent and non-urgent conditions to notify doctors.
  • Module 9: Management of dengue in Primary Health Care (PHC):

By the end of this module, you will: know how to educate patients and caregivers on essential information about dengue and give guidance on how to identify warning signs that require urgent medical attention and manage mild dengue illness at home and advise on preventative measures.
  • Module 10: Home care for dengue patients:

By the end of this module, you will: understand the essential aspects of home care for dengue patients, including symptom monitoring, hydration management, and recognizing warning signs that require medical intervention, to ensure safe and effective care in a home setting.
  • Module 11: Lessons learnt through dengue death review:
