An understanding of the HHFA indicators and questions is needed both for adapting the HHFA to the country context, and for interpreting the survey findings. This course introduces the HHFA indicators, explains the questionnaire structure and content, and equips the HHFA technical team with the knowledge needed to adapt the questionnaire.
The Harmonized Health Facility Assessment (HHFA) is a comprehensive health facility survey that provides information on the availability of services and the capacities of facilities to deliver quality services. Each implementing country adapts the survey to its context and needs.
The HHFA provides information in the form of indicators. An understanding of both the indicators and the HHFA questionnaire is needed for country adaptation of the HHFA.
This course introduces the HHFA indicator inventory platform, explains the indicators and the questionnaire, and equips the HHFA technical team with the knowledge needed for tailoring the questionnaire to country needs. Modules 2 and 3 also serve as an introduction to the HHFA Data analysis, interpretation and communication course.
