Course information

Overview

All countries are working towards achieving universal health coverage (UHC). Well-functioning health facility services are central to UHC.

The HHFA is a survey of health facilities to collect information on the availability of services and the capacities of facilities to deliver quality services. It can provide key information on how well facility services are working.

The HHFA works with trained teams of data collectors who go to health facilities and use a questionnaire to collect data about various aspects of health services. Therefore, proper training in data collection is paramount for a quality data set.

This course equips qualified health professionals at country level with the core knowledge to facilitate sessions for collection of HHFA data. It is targeted at health professionals with training experience who oversee quality components in service delivery.
