Course information

Overview

The HHFA is a comprehensive health facility survey that provides information on the availability of services and the capacities of facilities to deliver quality services.

The HHFA analysis platform is the recommended tool for analyzing the data collected during an HHFA. Using the platform, teams can generate analysis outputs – tables, charts, maps – without the need for any additional statistical software. Once users are familiar with the platform, most will be able to generate a full set of default indicators in only a couple of hours, including tables, charts and maps. All indicators and outputs can be fully customized to match a country’s analysis priorities.

This course walks through the entire process of using the analysis platform, including how to upload a dataset, configure the analysis and tabulation, generate results, and create custom indicators, tables, and figures.

What you'll learn

  • recognize the role that the analysis platform plays in analysing an HHFA dataset;
  • outline the benefits of the analysis platform as an analysis tool;
  • configure an analysis to use appropriate disaggregation (stratification), survey weights, and density estimates
  • use the analysis platform to generate the default set of indicators, tables, and charts for a country report;
  • customize an analysis tabulation by adding, removing, and editing indicators, and customizing tables and figures to suit country needs.
