Healthy Ageing: Student Materials Acknowledgement Agreement

By ticking the box in the pop-up, I (“Recipient”) hereby acknowledge receiving access to word, pdf, audio and video files containing World Health Organization proprietary materials ("the Materials") and agree to be bound by all of the terms set forth below.

I hereby acknowledge and agree:

  • the Materials contain copyrighted works belonging to the World Health Organization; and
  • the Materials are intended only for use by Recipient in connection with his/her modules as part of the Healthy Ageing for Impact in the 21st Century course / programme at OpenWHO; and
  • although Recipient may retain the Materials after concluding his/her programme at OpenWHO, the Materials are not intended for distribution or disclosure to third parties

Recipient acknowledges that the contents of the Materials are valuable, in part, because they are not available to persons other than OpenWHO students who enrol in the Healthy Ageing for Impact in the 21st Century course.

Recipient acknowledges that any improper use or unauthorized disclosure by Recipient of the Materials could cause irreparable harm to the World Health Organization.

Recipient agrees to be bound by all terms governing control and disclosure of the Materials contained in any notice(s) in the Materials including, without limitation, the following:

  • No printing, copying, distribution, disclosure or other dissemination of the contents hereof or information contained herein to any third party is permitted.
  • Recipients may print the files downloaded from this site for the purpose of completing the course. All other printing, publishing, displaying or duplication of these files is strictly forbidden.
  • In the event the digital files or device containing the Materials is lost, damaged, destroyed or inadvertently disclosed to any third party, the Recipient will immediately report same in writing to the World Health Organization.

Recipient acknowledges having read this Acknowledgment Agreement and affirms that he/she understands all of the terms of it, and to be bound by those terms.
