Na OMS, o termo "má conduta sexual" é uma expressão abrangente utilizada para designar todas as formas de comportamento sexual proibido por parte de membros do pessoal ou colaboradores em relação a colegas ou membros do público nos locais onde o pessoal e/ou colaboradores da OMS exercem a sua atividade. O termo inclui a exploração sexual, o abuso, o assédio e todas as outras formas conexas de má conduta sexual.
A direção, o pessoal e os Estados Membros da OMS estão profundamente empenhados em acelerar o nosso trabalho coletivo de prevenção e resposta à má conduta sexual. No entanto, todos sabemos e reconhecemos que mais pode e deve ser feito, e rapidamente.
Este canal fornece recursos de aprendizagem para reforçar as competências de prevenção e resposta à má conduta sexual. A aprendizagem e a formação contínua são essenciais para capacitar o pessoal e os nossos parceiros de implementação a cumprir as normas estabelecidas pelas políticas e pelo Código de Ética e Conduta Profissional da OMS, bem como os requisitos e expectativas estabelecidos pelo sistema das Nações Unidas, pelo Comité Permanente Inter-Agências e pelos seus parceiros.
